Position: Senior Engineer- Android Peripherals
Years of Experience: 4-8 Years
Location: Bengaluru | Belagavi
Job Brief:
Software development has a large role in the automotive industry of today. At Vayavya, we provide services to chip manufacturing, automotive, telecom, IP development, etc. companies in the areas of device driver development.
We are looking for candidates who have experience in writing drivers, integrating HALs & framework components for Android peripherals.
Job Description:
The role involves porting an existing implementation on Linux to Android. Also includes writing AIDL/HIDL interfaces, HAL implementation, CTS testing, and vendor module development.
Technical Skills:
Android HAL/peripheral integration/vendor module integration knowledge
Running CTS tests, VNDK integration, AIDL, and HIDL interfaces
Expertise in
Camera drivers and HAL
DRM drivers and HAL
Audio Drivers and Integration
Communication interfaces like WIFI, BT
Good C++ programming knowledge
Working knowledge of Java
Good to have:
Git and patching process
Good scripting skills
Non-Technical Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-managed and able to learn and adapt
Eager to take on new challenging work
