About Civil & Urban Infrastructure Business:
KEC’s Civil business focuses on the construction of factories, warehouses, residential buildings, railway stations, metros, and sewage & water treatment plants, and comprises of four verticals –
A. Infrastructure & Heavy Civil (Metro & Water Projects),
B. Industrial & Hydrocarbon (Factories),
C. Residential & Public Spaces (Buildings, Commercial Spaces),
D. Defence (Civil projects in Defence sector).
We provide professional EPC services in an area dominated either by small unorganized players or by very few large companies. With extensive Civil expertise and capabilities built over the years across all our businesses, we are setting benchmarks in speed, quality and safety by bringing in leading technologies, professional project management expertise and intense focus on safety & quality, enabling us to deliver excellence to our clients. The business has established itself as a premier contractor in the industrial segment, especially cement and auto sector.
Currently, we are executing around 20 turnkey EPC projects comprising metros, factories, data centre, townships and residential buildings for a repertoire of clients in sectors such as Metro Rail, Cement, Auto & Auto ancillaries, Metals & Mining, FMCG, Real Estate and Defence, among others.

Job Summary:
Senior Engineer - Execution
Key Accountabilities
Duty Statements
Planning
• Handle complete project from award stage (post-tender) to completion stage
• Plan and forecast project budget and human resource requirements
• Ensure project completion within specified time and budgeted costs
• Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements
Implementation
• Implement engineering systems and controls in compliance with Health & Safety regulations
• Maintain complete project documentation with respect to design and construction
• Monitor the progress of project and update corporate office as frequently as required
• Communicate with client and discuss about the project, contractual issues, contract validation etc.
• Co-ordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely delivery of goods at the project site
• Handle local purchase and payment related issues
• Interact with local bodies to ensure smooth execution
• Construct extra claims (change of scope) and process the same till time of realization
• Contracts review, Budgeting, Planning resources and organizing mobilization for efficient & economic completion of Contract within the agreed time and cost, with utmost safety & quality.
• Execute all construction activities including providing technical inputs for methodologies of construction & co-ordination with down the line.
• Identify & develop alternate vendor source for achieving cost effective purchase of equipment, accessories & timely delivery so as to minimize project cost.
• Ensure that equipment/materials received are in accordance with the quantity & quality, to get optimum output & productivity
• Liaison with internal & external customers, statutory & regulatory authorities
• Review the progress, resource usage and financial performance of the project & take corrective action
