Position Summary:
Senior System Engineer responsible for hardware and software bring-up, feature enablement, and software configurations of Digital cockpit system/High performance compute node.
Main responsibility includes bringing up the safety core of the processor for handling the functional safety use cases.
Job Title: Senior Engineer II, SW
Job Responsibilities:
Safety core - OS and driver bring-up. Safety application development for functional safety cases. Interface with various domains to achieve various functional safety requirements. Achieve early boot use cases. Report status, issues, and progress of the SW development to the SW project lead
Skills Required:
Working knowledge of AUTOSAR ECU software architecture Develops CDD drivers for the AUTOSAR application Understand the AUTOSAR application SW-C) configuration and the interaction of AUTOSAR applications (SW-C) with the underlying BSW modules Understand the functionality of RTE, mapping of application entities with BSW module parameters, OS scheduling concepts, ECU, and BSW module state changes Understand the flow of the AUTOSAR software from the application till the underlying driver. Able to prepare guidelines and standards for AUTOSAR software development Experience in system performance optimization is preferred Knowledge of system-level debugging
Basic qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. Must be aware of SDLC methodologies. Hands on experience of C++ or other structured language. Experience developing and debugging software in a real-time, embedded, multiprocessor, multi-interface environment. Exemplary verbal and written communication skills.
