About the Role-
Fractal Analytics is seeking a rare breed of technologist a Hacker-Mind AI Engineer to join our Data & AI Innovation team. You won t just write code; you ll shape problems, prototype solutions, and experiment with bleeding-edge AI tools and infrastructure.
This role is ideal for engineers who thrive in ambiguity, enjoy building before a spec is finalized, and see every challenge as a systems puzzle waiting to be solved.
What You ll Do-
Rapidly prototype end-to-end AI solutions from data ingestion to model inference to deployment
Explore and experiment with emerging technologies (LLMs, GenAI, real-time pipelines, etc.)
Define ambiguous problem statements and shape technical solutions collaboratively with clients and internal teams
Contribute to internal R&D sprints, solution accelerators, and tech deep-dives
Serve as a technical thought partner to product owners, architects, and innovation leaders.
Skills & Experience-
Must-Haves:
5+ years of experience in software/data/AI engineering (or equivalent open-source/portfolio proof)
Fluency in Python and at least one systems or compiled language (e.g., Rust, Go, TypeScript)
Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks: PyTorch, TensorFlow, HuggingFace, LangChain, etc.
Familiarity with cloud-native workflows: containers, orchestration, CI/CD, IaC (Docker, K8s, Terraform)
Ability to work across the stack: data wrangling, modeling, API design, MLOps
Bonus Points For:
Open-source contributions or personal GitHub projects
Experience working with or building LLM-powered systems
Knowledge of streaming, real-time data, or low-latency infrastructure
Participation in hackathons, AI challenges, or research communities
