Job Description
Role purpose: To integrate, improve and 247 operate Windows and VMware Vodafone applications and customers. To maintain and implement a growing set of virtual platforms used to provide mission critical infrastructure services to Vodafone customers. To constantly analyze, optimize and extend/simplify the global Vodafone Wintel Platforms
• 24/7 operations of Vodafone infrastructure services, assuring maximum stability and efficiency in line with ITIL accountabilities (Incident, Service Request, Problem, Task, Change, Release)
• Support and execute Windows, VMware refresh and decommissioning programs in order to maintain a high level of innovation in the virtual infrastructure technology estate
• Providing support in key critical activities relating to Windows and VMware Operations
• Strong knowledge on Windows Server, Active Directory & VMware technologies
• Excellent read/write capabilities in English
• Experienced in multinational environments
• Background expertise in the field of server, administration
• At least 3 years of experience in DC virtualisation and Windows Server Support
• Exp. in ITIL, SOX and security regulations
• Expert understanding of virtualisation, Windows VMware vSphere, VMware ESXi, VMware distributed virtual Switch,
• PowerShell scripting expertise
• Windows Host and Hyper-V Clustering Knowledge
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP knowledge
