Position Summary
Magellan Aerospace, Bangalore has an exciting opportunity for Senior Engineer / Engineer - Maintenance Department. This position works closely with CNC Machine shop & plant maintenance, Preventive & breakdown maintenance of CNC / VMC/ HMC/ 5 axis machines, Installation and commissioning of new machines, Documents / records management as per AS+100 D & Hands on experience in FANUC & MITSUBHISHI , SIEMENS CNC controllers.
Essential Responsibilities
• Preventive & breakdown maintenance of CNC / VMC/ HMC/ 5 axis machines.
• Installation and commissioning of new machines.
• Preparing Maintenance schedule as required for the all machineries.
• Documents / records management as per AS+100 D
• Critical spare parts planning and managing the inventory
• Should have good knowledge of 5 axis machine Milling.
• To be able prepare standard operation procedure for CNC machine maintenance.
• Should be able to read hydraulic / pneumatic / electric circuits.
• Hands on experience in FANUC & MITSUBHISHI , SIEMENS CNC controllers.
• Should have a good problem solving technics in the CNC machines.
Position Requirements
Ideally, the jobholder should possess the following Education Qualifications, Skills and experience.
Education Qualification: Diploma/BE mechatronics /electrical/ mechanical (: 7+ years’ experience In CNC Machine shop & plant maintenance).
• Should have a good coordination with internal & and external departments
• Should a good team player
• Should be able to follow-up with vendors and work get it done.
• Proactive approach is must on PM planning, spares planning , and support for production,
• Adhere to PPE, contract work permit preparations, guidelines of environment management system.
Skills Set Required:
• Knowledge of AS+100 standard

• Should have good knowledge of 5 axis machine Milling.
