Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with product and business to define and prioritize the roadmap.
• Drive architectural and strategic technology decisions to ensure the delivery of high-quality, innovative products.
• Oversee development projects, ensuring product excellence and technical innovation.
• Translate non-technical scope documents into actionable features.
• Lead, mentor, and inspire technical teams, cultivating a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and milestones.
• Contribute to the overall growth and success of the engineering department.
Requirements:
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• A minimum of 8 years of work experience in software development, systems architecture, and leadership/management roles within technology companies.
• A minimum of 5 years of hands-on software development experience, with a history of roles such as Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and similar.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in system architecture or high-level design, with a history of roles such as Tech Lead, Senior Software Engineer, etc.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in roles related to project or product management and managing teams, with positions like Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, etc.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, promoting collaboration and innovation.
• Experience in leading product development teams responsible for architecting and designing customer-facing products, features, or modules.
• Experience working in an early stage environment, in small/agile teams
• Good to Have/Preferences: Technology Stack Experience: Java/Scala, Play Framework, Angular, PSQL, Mongo, Druid, Redis, Kafka, Flink.
• Experience working with microservice architecture
