Job Title: Senior Event Designer

We are currently looking for a skilled and seasoned Senior Event Designer and sales expert to join our team.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Event Designer at CJE, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing and executing high-profile events. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of creativity, a discerning eye for aesthetics with 3+ years of sales experience in the event design industry.
• Lead the design and creative development of events from concept to execution, ensuring each event aligns with the client's vision and brand at CJE’s high standards.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their objectives, preferences, and expectations, translating them into innovative and visually stunning event designs.
• Produce detailed event proposals, including floor plans, design concepts, and material specifications, leveraging your sales experience to enhance the overall client experience. Experience with Details is a plus. Experience with All Seated is mandatory.
• Oversee the entire design process, including selecting and managing vendors, coordinating logistics, and executing installations, all while actively managing the full sales pipeline.
• Utilize your extensive sales knowledge to identify opportunities and cultivate client relationships, ensuring the successful conversion of leads into profitable events.
• Stay current on industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into event designs, aligning them with sales strategies to drive business growth.
• Lead end-to-end event design, collaborating with clients, managing the design process, overseeing the sales pipeline, and heading a sales team to meet goals.
• Work closely with other departments, such as logistics and CJDE Planning, to ensure seamless event execution, fostering cross-functional collaboration for overall project success.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and budgets, utilizing your sales expertise to optimize resource allocation and maximize revenue potential.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a senior event designer with a strong portfolio showcasing successful events and a track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals.
• Exceptional creativity and a keen eye for design aesthetics.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, Details, All Seated, and Basecamp (for Client Management).
• Knowledge of industry trends and a passion for staying updated on emerging event design concepts.
• Leadership experience, with the ability to mentor and guide a design and production team.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Requirements:
• Minimum of [5] years of experience in event design with 3 years of event design sales.
• Portfolio showcasing a range of events and design styles.
• Availability for flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules.
