The Sr. Manager – Events is a senior-level position responsible for leading and managing the planning, coordination, and execution of high-profile Gaming/Esports events. This role requires a high level of skill and experience in event planning and management, as well as excellent communication, organizational and leadership abilities.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-profile events
• Develop and implement event strategies and plans that align with the organization’s goals and objectives
• Identify and secure event venues and vendors
• Manage event budgets and financial reporting
• Oversee the creation of event marketing materials, including flyers, brochures, and websites
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, sponsors, vendors, and partners
• Oversee event staff
• Ensure that all events are executed safely and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
• Provide on-site event management and troubleshoot any issues that may arise
• Create post-event reports and analyze data to determine the success of events and identify areas for improvement.
• Work closely with senior management and other key stakeholders to ensure the events align with overall organizational goals.
• Lead a team of event planners and managers to execute events.
Qualifications:
• A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in event planning and management
• Strong project management skills
• Gaming Knowledge is a big plus
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficient in the use of event planning software and technology
• Experience working with budgets and financial reports
• Strong understanding of event marketing and public relations
• Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements for events
• A bachelor’s degree in event management, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
This role often requires to work outside of normal office hours and during weekends and even holidays. Travel may also be required.
