The Role of Senior Event Manager
As Senior Event Manager you will be responsible for the full event management (and event management budget) for:
• 10 Conferences (split between London and NYC) – will need to travel to NYC 3 times a year
• 8 annual awards events
• Some bespoke client-centric events (eg breakfast briefings)
You will of course be responsible for all of the usual event management tasks from organising the venue, AV, Staging, catering, on-site operations, management of speakers, entertainment etc. You will also have an Events Assistant reporting into you.
Requirements for this Senior Event Manager position
• 4+ years b2b event management experience
• Must have organised conferences
• Ideally will have organised corporate awards events
• Ideally managed an Events Assistant
• Used to working autonomously
• Must be highly organised and confident
• Professional and articulate
