Job Description
We have a unique opportunity for a Senior Events and Content Creator to join our Marketing and Communications team in the Toowoomba Head Office, on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Manager (Marketing and Communications), you will have an opportunity to express your creativity and be responsible for sharing the Mort & Co story, through content on both social media and the company website, along with media releases and publications. Creative, yet highly organised, the successful candidate will manage events across a wide-ranging event list for Mort & Co clients, in alignment with strategic objectives, to promote the company, its brands, initiatives and its people in a positive, proactive and effective manner.
ABOUT YOU
To set you up for success in the role, you will ideally possess:
Tertiary qualifications in communications, marketing, journalism or related field.
Proven experience as a content creator or content editor.
A solid understanding of marketing, with proven success in event management and sponsorship.
Strong research, writing, analytical and editing skills.
Extensive experience with relevant software and content management systems (CMS) to create features, experiences and designs.
A solid understanding of SEO and analytics.
Exceptional skills in building relationships, communication and presentation.
Organisational and time management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
