Our client is a dynamic organization within the Arts & Entertainment sector seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior Events Manager to lead their event planning and execution efforts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, IN . This role requires hands-on involvement in conceptualizing, planning, and managing a diverse portfolio of events, from cultural festivals and art exhibitions to corporate functions and community gatherings. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of event production, including budget development and oversight, vendor management, logistics coordination, marketing and promotion, and on-site event execution. Building and maintaining strong relationships with artists, performers, sponsors, and stakeholders will be crucial. The ideal candidate possesses a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
Key responsibilities include:
Conceptualizing and developing innovative event themes and programs. Managing all phases of event planning, from initial concept to post-event evaluation. Developing and managing event budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and profitability. Sourcing, negotiating with, and managing relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors. Coordinating event logistics, including venue selection, staffing, audiovisual equipment, and catering. Developing and implementing event marketing and promotional strategies. Overseeing on-site event execution, ensuring smooth operations and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Liaising with artists, performers, and talent to ensure seamless integration into events. Building and nurturing relationships with sponsors, partners, and key stakeholders. Conducting post-event analysis and reporting on key performance indicators. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, with at least 6 years of experience in event planning and management, preferably within the arts and entertainment industry. Proven experience in managing large-scale events and a strong understanding of event production processes are essential. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are required. Creativity, a strong sense of aesthetic, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment are important. This role demands a proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A deep appreciation for the arts and a passion for creating engaging cultural experiences are highly valued.
