The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market
Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits
Responsibilities
As a Senior Program Manager You Will
Set the vision and direction for a global event program, 20+ events from concept to deliver
Own the planning and execution of in-person and virtual recruiting events for senior and specialized candidate populations
This includes tasks such as: budget tracking, contracting, venue selection, content and collateral preparations, branded good inventory management, attendee experience and ROI tracking
Think creatively about the experiences and events we’re hosting to optimize for recruiting conversion and hiring
Build an ROI model to assess program success and prioritize event types
Determine if the right success metrics are in place, and if not, you will work to define them
Communicate regularly with recruiting stakeholders on partnerships and progress
Influence team priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions
Partner with managers to secure resources, scope efforts, set project priorities and milestones, and drive delivery
Work closely with senior business leaders to secure participation in events

We are looking for a high caliber, experienced, and motivated Senior Program Manager who has a passion for developing and executing event strategies to engage and cultivate top talent for Amazon. In this role, you’ll be responsible for defining the vision and road-map for our global recruiting events program. Our organization, Global Specialty Recruiting is responsible for hiring Amazon’s most senior and specialized talent in the areas of design, science, academics and engineering. This program’s mission is to engage as much of this talent population as possible through custom and highly curated hosted events. This is a vital piece of our recruiting strategy and how we highlight Amazon as a global technology leader.

Key job responsibilities

As a Senior Program Manager You Will

Basic Qualifications
• 5+ years of program or project management experience
• Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
• Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

Preferred Qualifications
• 2+ years of driving process improvements experience
• Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design or related field
• Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
• Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market.
