We are looking for an ambitious O365 developer to work with our partners and internal teams to deliver solutions aligned with Unilever’s Collaboration platform strategy. The Collaboration Platform team is tasked to lead Unilever in to the new world of cloud collaboration and productivity, a key component in the Digital Employee Experience.
Main Job Purpose
O365 Developer is part of the Solution and Capability – Application Platforms team of Collaboration Service line. The main purpose of this job is to deliver technical solutions and coordinate the demand from business and IT teams, work with internal team to deliver projects and transition projects to Application Maintenance team on Office 365 platform.
Job Description
The Collaboration Services team is responsible for delivering innovation projects in the areas of Collaboration and Enabling technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Collaboration Platform team works closely with IT teams and Business teams to understand the requirements from various business units and delivers projects on O365 platform
As part of technical delivery team, you will have to
• Analyze business requirements and deliver applications and solutions on O365 platform
• Work with Internal team & L2 to ensure solutions are packaged and available in VSTS
• Review requirements and propose OOTB solutions rather than building custom applications
• Work with wider Collaboration team to scope out any required development work (where OOTB is not possible) and ensure it is fit for purpose.
• Work with wider Unilever team such as InfoSec, IDAM, EC and other teams to ensure the delivered projects meet Unilever standards
• Understand usage of Azure to deploy components on Azure
• Keep abreast of latest rollouts by Microsoft across O365 products
Essential Experience, Skills And Qualification
• Deep knowledge and experience of building applications on O365. Need to know what to use when and OOTB functionalities. Primarily around SharePoint Online, OneDrive For Business, MS Teams, PowerApps, Flows.
• Understanding of various OOTB functionalities of O365 workloads to propose solutions
• Good knowledge of SharePoint modern sites and SharePoint Framework
• Experience in management and coordination of teams
• Knowledge on Agile and Scrum Methodologies
• Knowledge on DevOps Model and ways of working
• Usage of Azure DevOps for code management, build and release pipelines
• Understanding of Azure platform and hosting WebApps and Webjobs
• Knowledge on PowerShell Scripts, Migration tools
Educational Qualification
B/B. Tech. or MCA/MSc-IT
Experience
5-6 years of relevant experience
