Job Title: Senior Executive / Purchase Manager – Interiors

Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned Purchase Manager / Senior Executive who has in-depth experience in procurement specifically within the interiors industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of materials used in interior works such as wood, laminates, veneers, hardware, modular fittings, lights, sanitary fittings, etc., and possess a sharp acumen for vendor management and cost control.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the end-to-end procurement process for interior projects across residential, commercial, and hospitality domains.
• Develop and maintain a robust vendor network for sourcing quality materials at competitive rates.
• Evaluate material specifications from design teams and align procurement strategies accordingly.
• Ensure timely availability of materials on-site to match project timelines and reduce lead time.
• Stay updated with market trends and new materials in interiors (e.g., sustainable materials, premium finishes, designer hardware).
• Collaborate with designers to understand aesthetic goals and source materials that reflect the design vision of WEA Designs.
• Maintain quality control by ensuring procured materials match technical and design specifications.
• Handle price negotiations, contract management, and vendor performance reviews.
• Use ERP or procurement software for tracking purchase orders, stock levels, and deliveries.
• Support budgeting and cost estimates for new projects.
Candidate Requirements:
• Educational Qualification: Graduate in Commerce, Business, or relevant field. A degree/diploma in Interior Design or Procurement Management is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role in the interior design or architectural industry.
• Strong knowledge of interior design materials (plywood, laminates, veneers, modular hardware, MEP items, lighting fixtures, etc.).
• Proven experience in vendor development and negotiations.
• Familiarity with design processes, material sampling, and procurement documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and BOQs.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and ERP tools (e.g., Zoho, Tally, or SAP).
