Job Description for Senior Fashion Designer As a Fashion Designer, you will be responsible for designing and developing new clothing collections that align with our brand identity. You will work closely with the design team, production staff, and marketing department to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and style. Key Responsibilities: Experience into Kids wear and if you have experience in women’s wear that would be manageable. Research fashion trends and forecast future trends to create innovative designs. Develop sketches, technical drawings, and prototypes for new collections. Select fabrics, colours, and materials that align with design concepts. Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and cost-effective. Present design concepts to management and make adjustments based on feedback. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies. Attend fashion shows, trade shows, and other events to network and gather inspiration. Factory visit for coordination with product department for sample development. Should have knowledge about Prints & embroidery development. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field. Proven experience as a Fashion Designer or in a similar role. Strong portfolio showcasing your design work and creativity. Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop). Excellent understanding of textiles, colours, and fashion trends. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Minimum 4 years of experience.
