Job Description:
Position Summary: We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior Fashion Designer with a specialization in embroidery to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fashion design, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating intricate embroidered designs. Proficiency in design tools like Adobe Creative Suite is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop fashion collections with a focus on intricate embroideries and embellishments.
• Create detailed embroidery patterns and oversee the execution of these designs on various fabrics.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends in fashion and embroidery techniques.
• Collaborate with the design team to conceptualize and create innovative fashion pieces.
• Manage the entire design process from concept to final product, ensuring all designs meet the company's standards of quality and aesthetics.
• Work closely with the production team to ensure the accurate translation of designs into finished products.
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and other design tools to create sketches, technical drawings, and digital designs.
• Present design concepts and collections to senior management and stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide junior designers, providing feedback and support to enhance their skills and creativity.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in fashion design, with a strong focus on embroidery.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and other design software.
• Excellent understanding of embroidery techniques and materials.
• Strong creative vision and the ability to translate trends into wearable designs.
• Exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
