• Position Overview:
As a Senior Designer specializing in casual top and bottom wear, you will play a pivotal role in conceptualizing, designing, and executing compelling and marketable clothing lines. Drawing from your 3 to 4 years of experience in the field, you will lead the creative process, leveraging your knowledge of current trends, materials, and consumer preferences. Your primary responsibility will be to design casual top and bottom wear pieces that resonate with our target audience while upholding our brand identity.
• Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in apparel design, with a focus on casual top and bottom wear.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in sketching, conceptualization, and design execution.
- Proficient in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD.
- In-depth knowledge of fabrics construction techniques, and garment manufacturing processes.
- Excellent understanding of current fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market dynamics.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a senior or lead designer role.
- Experience working with overseas vendors and manufacturers.
- Knowledge of sustainability practices and ethical sourcing in the fashion industry.
• Note: A creation of a tech pack (technical specification package) is a mandatory requirement for this role.
