Job Overview:
As the Senior Fashion Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative direction of our trendsetting clothing line. Your responsibilities include studying emerging trends, identifying suitable fabrics and raw materials, conceptualizing design elements, and guiding the entire design-to-production process. In addition to overseeing a team of talented designers your focus will be on ensuring that our new line not only aligns with our brand vision but also sets industry trends.
Responsibilities:
Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of current and emerging fashion trends, identifying opportunities to integrate them into our new clothing line.
Material Sourcing: Collaborate with suppliers to source high-quality fabrics and raw materials that align with the design vision and meet production standards.
Conceptualization: Lead the creation of design concepts, mood boards, and prototypes, ensuring they encapsulate the essence of the brand and current market demands.
Creative Guidance: Oversee a team of talented designers, providing guidance and feedback throughout the design process to maintain a cohesive and trendsetting vision.
Production Oversight: Ensure that the design vision is faithfully executed at each stage of production, conducting regular follow-ups to guarantee quality and adherence to timelines.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including merchandising, marketing, and production, to seamlessly integrate design concepts into the overall brand strategy.
Quality Assurance: Implement stringent quality control measures, approving samples and final products to uphold design integrity.
Qualifications:
Degree in Fashion Design or related field.
Proven track record of designing and launching successful collections.
Extensive experience in trend analysis, material sourcing, and overseeing the entire design-to-production process.
In-depth knowledge of fashion trends, textiles, and production techniques.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and other designing softwares.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Have 5+ years of work experience in fashion designing
