Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in Design Process: Collaborate with senior designers to create new collections, design sketches, and brainstorm concepts.

• Fabric & Material Research: Assist in selecting fabrics, trims, and materials for designs, ensuring adherence to quality and sustainability standards.

• Technical Drawings: Prepare technical sketches and specifications for garment production, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software.

• Pattern Making & Draping: Learn about pattern making, draping, and garment construction, applying theoretical knowledge to practical applications.

• Assist with Fashion Shows & Photo Shoots: Help prepare outfits for runway shows and photo shoots, ensuring everything is styled and fitted correctly.

• Sourcing & Fabrication: Assist in sourcing fabrics and other materials required for designs, considering factors such as quality, durability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Trend Research: Stay updated on fashion trends, color palettes, and fabric innovations to incorporate into designs, ensuring a competitive edge in the market.

• Collaboration: Work closely with other design team members, including senior designers, stylists, and fabric experts, to create unique designs that meet customer needs and expectations.

• Learning & Development: Gain exposure to the day-to-day activities of the fashion design process, from ideation to production, expanding your skillset and network.

Requirements:

• Educational Qualification: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Fashion Design or a related field.

• Skills:

• Basic knowledge of fashion design principles.

• Proficiency in design software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).

• Creative thinking and an eye for detail.

• Understanding of garment construction, pattern making, and sewing techniques.

• Ability to research and identify fashion trends.
