Senior Finance Analyst RTR
Contract Type: 12 month Fixed term contract to start asap
Location: Peterborough - 3 days a week
DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking a Senior Finance Analyst RTR to play a vital role within our Finance function, performing all accounting processes for their respective operation.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, you will be responsible for:
• Performing all accounting processes in scope for your site / customer / function, such as month-end, reconciliations, fixed assets accounting, while ensuring to meet all KPI requirements
• Getting to know your customer / site inside out. Acting as a trusted advisor and providing expert knowledge to help facilitate decision-making
• Adherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report production
• Providing regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution and highlighting any escalations
• Identifying any opportunities for continuous improvement

• Strong financial and analytical skills
• Flexible and resilient
• Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements
• Two-three years of experience performing accounting in a logistics or similar industry – desirable
• Experience of using Oracle Cloud - desirable
• Working towards, or interested in working towards, a financial qualification such as AAT or CIMA - desirable
