Job Description
What you will do:
The person shall be a Chartered Accountant with minimum 5 to 8 years of post-qualification industrial experience with a manufacturing / Projects organization who shall be responsible for the Financial Aspects of the business for India. Candidate should possess strong communication and analytical skills to present the Financials every month along with the microanalysis of Variances between Budgets and Actuals.
How you will do it
• Responsible for Month-end reporting and variance analysis.
• Compilation and preparation of Budgets.
• Ownership of monthly Profit & Loss areas – SG&As, COGS, etc.
• Responsible for month end closing JEs.
• Owing GLs and keeping a backup of each GL in Profit and Loss account.
• Managing accurate closings of Balance Sheet with accurate reporting of Assets and Liabilities.
• Variance analysis – MTD, QTD and YTD basis for Budget vs Actuals and connecting with various teams to ensure with the necessary corrective steps on it. Presentation of various monthly reports including, reports on liquidity, profitability, variance analysis and bottlenecks etc.
• Overall Scrutinization of GL, Reports, etc. and to ensure addressing all abnormalities.
• Monitoring and wherever required necessary corrections on Cost Center based accounting.
• Keeping an eye at micro level for all the costs incurred.
• Track on Intercompany recoveries. Creating on monthly basis all the master reports required.
What we look for
• Chartered Accountant with minimum 5 to 8 years of post-qualification experience.
• Excellent in MS-Excel (including advanced excel), MS-Power point, SAP or any ERP system understanding. Power BI & HFM Reporting would be additional preferences.
• Communication skills: Excellent in English Speaking, Email writing and internal reports preparations and presentations
• Soft Skills: Vigilant, Adaptive, Flexible, Innovative and Situation Handling
