About the role | Ko te tūranga mahi
As a Senior Financial Accountant, you'll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of our financial information, helping stakeholders make informed decisions.
You'll be responsible for delivering monthly and annual financial results in line with NZ IFRS, preparing financial statements, supporting external audits, and contributing to Crown reporting and greenhouse gas emissions reporting. You'll also work closely with other teams across the business, manage lease accounting in line with NZ IFRS 16, and support payroll processes.
This role is part of a collaborative Corporate Finance team, where you'll be encouraged to contribute ideas for process improvement and build strong relationships across the business.
About you | Ko wai koe
You're a qualified CA or CPA (or equivalent) with audit experience from a Big Four firm and3-5 years of post-qualification experience in a professional financial environment. You bring strong technical expertise in NZ IFRS and have worked in complex, multi-entity or fast-paced organisations.
You're analytical, detail-oriented, and confident communicating financial insights clearly. You thrive in dynamic environments, are adaptable, and have a collaborative mindset. You're committed to accuracy and integrity, and you're always looking for ways to improve processes and add value.
Bonus if you have experience in financial services treasury accounting or are familiar with Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems.
