Role Summary

We are seeking a warm, detail-oriented Senior Accountant with 3–5 years of professional experience to safeguard the accuracy of our books and support the company’s path toward IPO readiness. This role involves preparing audit-ready financial statements, reviewing bookkeeping, and assisting with U.S. public-company reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting – Prepare and review timely US GAAP–compliant financial statements and supporting schedules.

General Ledger & Month-End Close – Maintain QuickBooks, manage accounts, reconcile bank/credit card transactions, and ensure accurate monthly close.

IPO & Pre-IPO Readiness – Assist in the preparation of financial statements, disclosures, and supporting documentation needed for SEC filings (e.g., S-1, 10-K/Q). Collaborate with external counsel, auditors, and underwriters as needed.

Project Tracking – Record and update project budgets, timelines, and completion status, providing alerts on delays or cost overruns.

Audit Support – Provide documentation, reconciliations, and explanations during audits; implement adjustments promptly.

Regulatory Compliance – Stay current with GAAP/SEC updates; ensure reporting and disclosures meet evolving U.S. public-company standards.

Data Verification – Review workpapers from bookkeeping partners to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Internal Controls & Risk – Assess accounting processes, identify control gaps, and recommend improvements to strengthen pre-IPO readiness.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

3–5 years of progressive accounting or audit experience; experience with pre-IPO, IPO, or U.S.-listed company reporting strongly preferred.

Proficiency in QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and general ledger systems; exposure to project management tools is a plus.

Solid understanding of US GAAP; familiarity with SEC reporting requirements and U.S. tax processes preferred.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Clear communication skills to explain financial information to non-financial colleagues.

Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin highly valued, especially for cross-border coordination.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
