Join City of Newcastle (CN) as a subject matter expert (SME) in Fire Safety to provide development knowledge and technical expertise
Temporary, Full-time contract until February 2026
35hr working week with flexible working arrangements on offer
The CN Planning, Transport and Regulation team have a temporary, full-time opportunity available for an experienced Senior Fire Safety Officer.
As the Senior Fire Safety Officer, you will form part of the Development Compliance Team. You will apply your professional compliance, development knowledge and technical expertise as a SME to provide a high level of professional customer service and specialist technical advice to lead in relation to fire safety, coordinate and ensure the efficient and effective delivery of Councils Fire Safety Program, and provide advice in relation to recommended fire safety measures/upgrades to our valued community members.
