Job Description
Mandatory Requirements:
• Hands on experience in
• Using C, C++ languages and VxWorks RTOS or any RTOS on Embedded Systems
• Hardware board bring up, trouble shooting, boot optimization, power up tests etc
• Development and customization of Board Support Packages (BSP) for microprocessor/microprocessor based platforms
• Device driver development for interfaces such as ADC, DAC, I2C, USB, SPI, UART, JTAG, GPIO, PEIE etc.
• Communication protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, RS 232/485, Modbus, OPC UA, Fieldbus, HART etc
• Embedded Application Development using high end Dual Core Microprocessors supporting symmetric and asymmetric processing
• OS/Kernel features like interrupts, Inter Process Communication (IPC) mechanisms, multi-threading, synchronization and memory management
• Working with hardware designers to implement and test new designs and in the integration of bespoke and COTS software
• Hardware/Software integration using tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, emulators, debuggers, memory profilers, performance monitoring tools etc. etc
• Working with hardware designers to implement and test new designs and in the integration of bespoke and COTS software
• Using the configuration management tools such as Telelogic CM Synergy and Telelogic Change
• Writing formal documentation such as System Requirements Specification, Software Design Specifications etc.
• Atleast one complete embedded software development product life cycle from concept development through product testing and final release
• Good business skills such as problem solving, coaching and technical guidance, self-initiation, cross functional team playing, communication and time management.
Nice to have requirements.
• Knowledge in
• TFS and its use
• MISRA and equivalent coding standards
• EDSA standards and certification
• Development and customization of Board Support Packages
• Agile Development
