Job Description
My client is a top national law firm who are looking for a specialist French-speaking paralegal to advise French clients on English business law and join their ever-growing corporate team.

In this position, you'll enhance your knowledge of English business law to assist our French clientele with various legal matters. Your proficiency in French, both spoken and written, will be supported by a deep understanding of French culture and, preferably, some background in French law to better meet the needs of our corporate clients. You'll also have the chance to participate in networking events in France with colleagues from the French Group, and occasionally, you may have the opportunity to travel to France about two to three times a year.
The role involves but is not limited to:
• Advising French Clients upon the matter of strictly English Business Law alongside fee earners from other teams where relevant
• Working with intermediaries, helping build strong relationships
• Undertaking legal research and marketing activities
• Presenting seminars
• Providing advice and guidance to the client's French speaking clientele.
Skills required:
• Attentive to detail
• Strong organisational skills
• Bilingual in French and English
• Knowledge of both French and English legal systems desirable
• Clear and concise legal drafting skills
• Up-to-date legal knowledge and government policy developments knowledge
• Ability to provide high quality advice in French to a high standard and meet deadlines
• Ambitious, flexible and enthuasiastic about your work.
