PublicSquare is America's leading commerce and payments ecosystem that serves customers and businesses that value life, family, and freedom. PublicSquare operates under three segments: Marketplace, Financial Technology, and Brands. The primary mission of the Marketplace segment is to help consumers "shop their values" and put purpose behind their purchases. PublicSquare leverages data and insights from the Marketplace to assess its customers' needs and provide wholly-owned quality financial products and brands. PublicSquare's Financial Technology segment includes Credova, a consumer financing and payments company. PublicSquare's Brands segment consists of D2C companies, like EveryLife, a premium life-affirming baby products company.
Role Summary
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer(Front-End) to develop and enhance new and current features for Marketplace.
In this role, you will work closely with other highly skilled engineers, designers, and product stakeholders to drive value for our merchants and customers. You will be responsible for writing and testing components as well as 3rd-party integrations in pursuit of our organizational goals.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Building responsive website features with a mobile-first approach
Writing high-quality, organized, performant, tested, and documented code
Advising engineering managers and product managers on engineering and technology decisions affecting team projects and goals
Impart single-concern engineering concepts and a DRY approach to writing and testing your code
Contributing to architecture for web application and mobile webview features
Contribute to our UI library of reusable and modular components and layouts
Participating in code reviews and contributing to continuous improvement and continuous delivery of our software and systems
Hiring & developing the best. Participate in interviewing and hiring engineers
