The Senior Web Developer is a multi-disciplinary role that owns and develops AVANA’s web and application products to elevate AVANA’s leading business products and technology products. The key responsibility includes becoming the technical web expert to execute marketing campaigns through digital channels. The ideal candidate would understand AVANA Companies portfolio of products, AVANA business model and significantly contribute with the focus on Websites and Social Media.
The candidate would promote and lead AVANA’s small business lending platform and organization’s entrepreneurial culture of achievements within our customer communities. The opportunity creates innovative solutions to our borrowers and investor communities; and generates substantial business traction to create more jobs and stimulate economic progress in the US. The individual accomplishes significantly by planning, designing, delivering, and optimizing integrated technology platforms. The desired outcome from these actions intersects with:
• LendThrive by generating online originations and loan applications filed
• EqualSeat by attracting investors to preserve wealth and portfolio of investment growth opportunities
• Borrowers being able to reach AVANA Capital and seek capital funds

2. Responsibilities and Targeted Accomplishments
Avana Capital is looking for an outstanding Web Developer responsible for design, coding and scaling up of corporate websites. The web developer will be part of the development team and will work closely with the product engineering team and marketing team. The individual will be responsible for designing, building and maintaining applications as defined.
• Build fully functional web-based apps based on business focused product designs and best in class UI techniques
• Collaborate with backend developers and other team members to implement scalable and flexible UI components
• Maintain active relationships with project stakeholders to understand business requirements
• Create technical documentation and maintain the knowledge repositories
• Work cross-functionally to enhance overall user experience of our platforms - revise, edit, proof-read & optimize web content
• Build, manage and update corporate websites and blogs on a CMS platform
• Ensure that web sites work on all supported desktop and mobile browsers and form factors
• Build automated end to end testing of the web site to roll out changes without regressions
• Work closely with the marketing team to implement landing pages and launch various campaigns
• Continuously evaluate the design and functionality
• Convert the business use cases into our platform application codebase
• Get Involved in the overall architecture of products, collaborate with the rest of the engineering team and convert design elements to visual elements using modern web technologies

3. Core Values & Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, Information Systems or related degree with minimum 5 years of experience with web developer certification
• Expertise and mandatory experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular JS, React JS, Redux, React Hooks, JQuery, Material.ui and Rest APIs
• Technical expertise in one programming language such as C#, Python or PHP
• Functional knowledge or hands on design experience with web applications
• Strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions & standards
• Experience in other marketing CRM tools would be a plus
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate data into marketing actionable plans
• Extremely Pro-active, Results-focused and Strong analytical skills
