Role Description
This position is for a frontend leader/architect in the product development of Scitara working with the global engineering team
We are looking for a Technical Lead with a to do attitude to solve problems using the deep technical knowledge and experience. Responsible to design, implement solutions, and take ownership of technical outcomes. Mentor and go to person in the team for any technical issue. Interact with global engineering team on regular basis.
Key Responsibilities
• Architecture and development of frontend components for UI/dashboard using ReactJs with Redux and Redux Sagas
• Design and implementation of Redux components
• Lead the vision for the Frontend, guide the frontend developers, test automation efforts and UX overhaul
• Work with Product Architect on realizing the overall vision of the Product
• Participate in backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily scrum, sprint review and sprint retrospectives
• Assure quality by adhering to the specified coding standards, Unit testing, identify and fix the defects at dev level.
• Assist the test engineers in identification of test scenarios and development of automation.
• Mentor and help team members in all technical aspects to deliver the features on time
• Maintain compliance towards corporate policies on information security, confidentiality of data, and privacy of data
Ideal Candidate
Educational Qualifications
Bachelor/Master of Engineering or equivalent in Computer Engineering, IT, or related field
Experience
• 12-16 years of hand on experience in frontend/fullstack development
• Experience in building cloud-native applications with a continuous delivery strategy.
• Proven expertise in technical leadership and mentoring the team.
• Solid experience working as subject matter expert and solving technical problems.
• Worked in agile development methodologies.
Desired Skills
• Deep understanding of MEAN (Mongo-Express -Angular Js-Node Js) or MERN (Mongo-Express-React-Node Js) stack.
• Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and Web Sockets
• Knowledge of cloud frameworks (AWS/ Azure/ GCP), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis)
• Experience with informatics applications or GxP compliant applications
• Experience in secure coding and building applications for regulated industries
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Attitude and aptitude to lead the team technically from front
