As a Senior front-end Developer, you will work closely with iGotcha's key decision-makers, Software Development Manager, VP Product and the rest of the development team to create a variety of products and experiences - from our core digital signage cms platform, native applications/ to interactive experiences that merge the online with the real world.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented front-end developer to join our team and help us refactor and simplify our existing Vue 2, Vuex, Vuetify-based front-end application. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Vue.js, Vuetify, and front-end code architecture, with a strongly focusing on writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code.
As part of this role, you will collaborate closely with our product owner and back-end teams to ensure that the front-end codebase is optimized, maintainable, and follows best practices.
Responsibilities:
Refactor and simplify existing Vue 2 and Vuetify front-end code for better performance, maintainability, and scalability. Implement reusable components and modularize code to improve reusability and reduce redundancy. Remove the Vuex store where it is not relevant. Optimize the performance of the front-end code, ensuring faster load times and smoother user experiences. Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues, ensuring high-quality code delivery.
Qualifications:
Proven experience with Vue.js (Vue 2 specifically), Vuetify, and modern JavaScript frameworks. Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+). Familiarity with state management libraries like Vuex. Good understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
Bonus Skills:
Familiarity with back-end technologies (Node.js, Ruby on Rails, etc.).
Experience in UX/UI design an asset.
Experience with graphic design an asset.
Soft skills
You are a strong communicator. Explaining complex technical concepts to designers, support, and other engineers is no problem for you.
You are an open-minded person who is ready to learn new technologies.
You enjoy working on multiple projects at the same time/in parallel.
