Job Overview
Plan A Technologies is looking for a talented Frontend Engineer with expertise in ReactJS to build and maintain high-quality web applications optimized for mobile devices. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of frontend development, experience working on mobile-friendly web solutions, and a good design sense to ensure a seamless user experience. Please note: you must have at least 5+ years of experience in frontend development with ReactJS to be considered for this role.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY
• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using ReactJS.
• Ensure web solutions are optimized for mobile devices, providing a smooth and intuitive user experience.
• Implement user interfaces with common sense design principles, avoiding UI/UX pitfalls.
• Collaborate with designers, backend developers, and product managers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across different browsers and devices.
• Work with APIs and integrate third-party services as needed.
• Follow best coding practices, ensuring clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain high-quality standards.
Experience
• Bachelor’s degree (BSCS, BSEE, or BSCE) or equivalent education and experience
• 5+ years of experience in frontend development with ReactJS.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience building mobile-friendly and responsive web solutions.
• Understanding of frontend design principles with a good sense of UI/UX (no need to be an expert but should avoid poor design decisions).
• Familiarity with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, Zustand, etc.).
• Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and third-party integrations.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Git version control and agile development methodologies.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
• Be flexible to change, and willing to adapt to the client and team needs
• Ability to work with engineers in multiple countries
• Must have an organized and analytical working style, and the ability to plan your own work
• Initiative and drive to do great things
Nice to Have:
• Knowledge of CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Styled Components, or Material-UI).
• Experience with performance optimization techniques for frontend applications.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).
• Understanding of Progressive Web Apps (PWA) principles.
