Job Description
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.
• Own the full stack technology, design architecture and drive technical direction
• Write and test product or system development code
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices
• Contribute to existing documentation.
• Triage product or system issues or monitor the system and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on
• hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
• Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard and on time.
• Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
• Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.
• Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
• Updating work schedules and performing troubleshooting as required.
• Motivating staff and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns.
• Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
• Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.
PREFERRED PROFILE:
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
• 6+ years industry experience as a Software Engineer or a Software developer with experience as a Senior Engineer leading teams in an agile
• environment
• 2+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architecture, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current
• systems
• 2+ years of experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures and algorithm design, and complexity analysis
• Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication, motivational, and interpersonal skills
• Experience working with Mobile app development
