About the role
We’re building a new engineering team focused on transforming healthcare technology with scalable, cloud-native solutions. As a Senior Full-stack Engineer, you’ll work across the entire stack—developing modern frontends with React and Next.js, building robust backend services in Node.js and Python, and designing APIs that keep everything connected. You’ll also leverage AWS, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code to deliver secure, maintainable, and production-ready systems that make a real-world impact.
Responsibilities
• Build and scale applications using TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and React/Next.js
• Design and optimise APIs (REST/GraphQL) that enable seamless data exchange across services
• Develop and deploy cloud-native solutions on AWS (serverless, containers, networking) with Kubernetes basics
• Implement Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, CDK, and Terraform
• Work with modern datastores (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB) and caching/eventing tools (SQS, EventBridge)
• Deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable full-stack healthcare solutions by owning services end-to-end while mentoring peers and ensuring best practices
• Communicate design decisions clearly through architectural storytelling, mentor peers, and collaborate proactively in async discussions and standups
Requirements
• 5+ years of professional experience as a Full-stack Engineer, with TypeScript and Node.js as core skills
• 3+ years of experience with Python, building services or data workflows
• 3+ years of experience with React/Next.js for building modern frontends
• Proven expertise in API design (REST and GraphQL)
• 2+ years of experience with AWS (serverless, containers, networking) and familiarity with Kubernetes
• Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines with GitHub and Infrastructure as Code (CDK or Terraform)
• Hands-on experience with multiple datastores (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB) plus caching/eventing systems (SQS, EventBridge)
Nice to have
• Knowledge of healthcare data standards or integrations
• Experience with advanced Kubernetes deployments
• Familiarity with event-driven and distributed systems patterns
• Understanding of observability tools and performance optimization
