Leading the software engineering work with full accountability of engineering delivery, starting from technical ideation / design to implementation and rollouts.
· Being accountable for the technical and UX designs and ensuring alignment across all formats of purchase flows.
· Liaise with UX and product team for comprehending research work, User study and interface design.
· Collaborate with other stakeholders - API Service team, Business domain and UI apps.
· Specifying and ensuring adherence to the coding principles and standards for Web Engineering
· Conducting and reviewing key design reviews (against principles and standards) and leads remediation as appropriate.
· Standardization of the tools & frameworks used in Digital Engineering.
· Flexing the size and capabilities of the team in line with the demand pipeline from the business roadmap.
· Mentoring the development team from both a technical and personal perspective.
· Build reusable code and libraries with an emphasis on code optimization and efficiency techniques.
· Communicate clearly and effectively across all levels of the organization.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Must be AWS Professional Levels Certified or equivalent in Other Cloud Technologies such as GCP or Azure.
· Thorough with the Micro Services and Micro Front-End Architecture and Solutions Design and good knowledge with data structures and algorithms and apply them to build solutions to get the best of time-complexity and space complexity.
· Professional hands-on Front-End development experience and expert in JavaScriptframeworks like Dojo, jQuery, Ember React, Angular or equivalent.
· Hands on with JavaScript Object based model and programming, ECMAScript 6, TypeScript4 & NPM @Types. Comprehensive knowledge of JavaScript Design Patterns and apply them in designing the web solution.
· Thorough with Web Development Frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation etc. Hands on with HTML5 and CSS3, Less/Sass, Templating Engines like Handlebars, EJS etc.
· Excellent with Server-Side Development in NodeJS with Cloud & Web Securities, DevOps, Edge Computing, CDN etc. working experience with Serverless Frameworks and managing the CI/CD of these solutions in the Cloud, and hands on implementing build and release processes with Transpilers, NPM, Python, Shell Script etc.
· Significant experience working in Web & Mobile Application Development which includes significant RESTful API and Third-Party service integrations.
· Show strong business and technical judgment that will accelerate time to market of releases, while incrementally moving our services towards the long-term vision.
