Responsibilities include:
• Analyzing requirements with product management and stakeholders;
• Collaborating with UX designers and architects to scope and plan engineering efforts;
• Developing secure and reusable components for UIs;
• Designing APIs and SDKs that developers love;
• Maintaining high standards for security, test-driven development, design reviews, and code reviews.
Requirements
• 5+ years of experience with React, Angular, or Backbone (JavaScript MVC frameworks) and a deep understanding of JavaScript;
• Experience shipping production-grade applications in an agile environment;
• Proficiency in at least one backend language and framework – Java, C#, TypeScript;
• Demonstrable knowledge of HTTP fundamentals and strong API design skills;
• Understanding of debugging scalable web applications built with reusability and componentization in mind;
• Cross-browser compatibility and optimization techniques;
• Cloud-native system experience – AWS, GCP, Azure;
• A track record of delivering work incrementally and iterating over solutions;
• Infectious enthusiasm and the right attitude towards ownership, accountability, attention to detail, and customer focus.
