Your role

You will be required to:
• be responsible for designing and building critical components to successfully deliver solutions
• work with a global team of analysts, engineers and business stakeholders
• take ownership and drive deliveries within a supportive team environment
• embrace the complex business requirements and enjoy the challenge of implementing them
• work as part of an agile development team within a global technology team located in the UK, Poland, and India
Your team
You will be part of the Finance Technology team within Finance, Risk and Data IT organization. Our software and tools are at the heart of UBS's Corporate Centre where we provide bank-wide solutions to support the business processes in these functions. The team is global based in Switzerland, UK, EMEA, APAC and the US.
Your expertise
• strong logical, analytical and problem-solving skills
• tremendous experience in system design, strong hold on design principles and commonly used patterns
• capability to evalutate appropriate usage of technology based on use cases.
• strong hold on OOPs and Functional programming concepts
Backend development
• strong Java 11+ and know how of Java 17
• hands on experience in Project reactor, Spring framework 5 and Spring boot 2+, Microservices architecture,
• experience in Spring cloud integrations
• must have experience with Test driven development and Behaviour driven development with standard Unit testing /component Testing using frameworks like Junit5, Mockito, Spring Testing, cucumber, selenium etc.
• strong experience on Postgresql 11+
• hands on experience with Azure cloud services like, appinsight, azure blob storage, azure eventhubs,
• experience on using Swagger Open Api documentation
• good understanding and experience on analytical and reporting tools like Power BI. Including data sourcing, transformation using power query, report building
• used to Agile ways of working
• strong experience in build tools like gradle and corresponding plugins and CICD pipeline creation/modification using Gitlab
Front-end development
• strong in React 17+,proficient in Typescript 4+
• strong experience using React hooks and writing custom hooks
• experience in RxJS
• managing Redux state with Redux Tool kit
• proficient in Styled components or any equivalent CSS pre-processors
• strong experience on unit testing using React Testing Library and Jest Runners
• proficient on websockets and other web API’s
• experience on managing complex forms and validations
• hands on using debugging tools like chrome, Redux dev tools, React developer tools
• ability to code performant and Reusable components
• work in close collaboration with Backend developers to design and seamlessly integrate REST API’s
Good to have
• knowledge on Flowable or any workflow management tools
• knowledge on finance technology
• hands on experience with handling system integrations
• added advantage on experience with Databricks
• good to have experience on Kubernetes, Terraforms
• good to have azure infrastructure configuring experience
• hands on experience on various static code quality analysing tools
• know-how of Scala, Python
