Job description

Job Title: Senior Associate – Fund Administration & Process Technology

Shift Timing: 10.00 AM to 7.00 PM / 12.00 PM to 9.00 PM

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Review daily, monthly, and quarterly reporting and reconciliations performed by Associate Accountants, providing feedback for improvement.

• Guide Associate Accountants in day-to-day transactions, ensuring fund administration procedures are completed on schedule and in compliance.

• Assist Directors/Associate Directors in managing operations, responding to team queries, preparing time budgets, coordinating with auditors and tax teams, and evaluating profitability of engagements.

• Conduct training sessions for peers, including general accounting topics, financial statement updates, and portfolio accounting software.

• Evaluate peer performance during each engagement, providing necessary feedback.

• Step in to perform Associate Accountant tasks when required.

• Review timesheets prepared by Associate Accountants and develop/maintain client contact as needed.

Process Technology Functions

• Support Process & Technology Managers in addressing software/system issues, automation projects, and fund migration to new platforms (Geneva, GWI, H2 apps, Hexaview, etc.).

• Conduct training, test customizations, and participate in system improvements and evaluations.

• Monitor enhancements to ensure systems are effective and up-to-date.

• Coordinate with various teams for process automation and improvements.

• May support additional non-operations work as required by management.

Job Specifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy (mandatory).

• Certification: CPA, CA, CFA, or CAIA required.

• Minimum 3 years of continuous experience in accounting or finance roles; fund administration, asset management audit, or equivalent experience preferred.

• Team management experience required.

• Strong business understanding of finance concepts and procedures, analytical, detail-oriented, and collaborative team player.

• Flexibility for extended work hours to meet business needs.
