The Opportunity:
The Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment is seeking a Senior Government Advisor to join their Small Business and Manufacturing Policy Team. This is a permanent position that offers a unique opportunity to shape policy settings that support small businesses and the manufacturing sector in New Zealand.
As a key member of the team, you will work closely with senior stakeholders to influence policy decisions and contribute to building a supportive and enjoyable team culture. Lead programmes of work on complex and sensitive areas, providing high-quality policy advice and guidance.
Engage with industry experts and stakeholders to inform policy development and ensure effective implementation.

Requirements:
Experience in policy development and analysis, with a focus on economic and regulatory issues.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
