RBC Worldwide is seeking a talented and innovative Senior Graphic Designer with a solid background in advertising and brand communication to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of visual design principles and the ability to craft compelling visuals that resonate with audiences across various mediums. This role requires expertise in digital and print design, strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects), and a proven track record of creating advertising and branding materials.
As a Senior Graphic Designer at RBC Worldwide, you will work closely with the marketing, copywriting, and digital teams to design high-quality graphics for advertising campaigns, social media assets, website graphics, branding materials, and print collateral. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects that contribute to our clients' success, including creative ad campaigns, website redesigns, social media posts, email newsletters, and event branding.
Key Responsibilities:
Advertising & Campaign Design:
• Create visually impactful designs for advertising campaigns across digital, print, and social media platforms.
• Develop creative concepts and execute designs that align with client goals and branding strategies.
• Design engaging banners, social media posts, emailers, and web graphics that communicate key messages effectively.
• Ensure consistency in brand identity across all campaign assets.
Branding & Visual Identity:
• Develop and maintain strong visual branding guidelines for both clients and internal projects.
• Design logos, brand materials, and promotional content that reflect the brand’s identity and vision.
• Create and implement designs that ensure cohesive brand messaging across all channels and touchpoints.
Digital & Print Design:
• Produce high-quality digital designs including website layouts, email marketing templates, and social media content.
• Prepare print-ready artwork for brochures, posters, banners, and other marketing collateral.
• Manage design production to meet print deadlines while ensuring quality and accuracy.
Quality & Brand Consistency:
• Ensure all design work aligns with the company's brand standards and maintains high visual quality.
• Review designs with a critical eye for detail, ensuring everything is pixel-perfect and free of errors.
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Experience:
• 5-10 years of professional graphic design experience in an advertising or branding environment.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating proficiency in both digital and print design, showcasing a variety of creative projects.
Core Skills:
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects)
• Expertise with CorelDRAW will be an added advantage
• Strong knowledge of visual design principles, including typography, color theory, layout design, and composition.
• Ability to design for a variety of media formats, including digital ads, social media graphics, print collateral, and branding materials.
• Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
