Responsibilities
Provide professional hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling tailored to individual client preferences
Deliver outstanding customer service by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring client satisfaction
Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in all work areas in compliance with health regulations
Assist clients with product recommendations and upselling retail items to enhance their salon experience
Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and handling payments
Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide expert advice on hair care and styling options
Support team members with training or mentorship as needed to uphold salon standards and foster a collaborative environment
Experience
Proven experience as a professional hair stylist with a strong portfolio of work demonstrating versatility and skill in various styling techniques
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and retain clients over time
Knowledge of sanitation procedures, safety standards, and current hair trends
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
Experience in retail sales or upselling products is preferred but not required
