In this role the successful candidate will work on:
• Provide prototype circuit board rework and testing support for new product engineering and test engineering
• Provide prototype product system assembly, debugging, programming, and functional verification
• Assist engineering with test and measurement of prototypes and products
• Maintain clean and orderly workspaces in the laboratory environment
• Build experimental test setups for electrical, thermal, and EMI testing
• Maintain laboratory equipment asset list and calibration schedule
• Maintain stock of laboratory consumables
Credentials:
• Associates Degree in engineering, or ET certification or equivalent
• 5+ years experience
Required Skills:
• Expert level surface mount soldering assembly and rework, 0402 and larger, TSSOP ICs, etc.
• Ability to read electrical schematics, BOMS, and rework instructions
• Wire cable and harness assembly
• Proficiency with common power electronics laboratory test equipment
• FW and SW programming of on-board digital devices
What would make you stand out?
• Experience using Arena PLM application, Jira, and Confluence
• IPC-A-610 soldering certification
• High-volume product development support
• Familiarity with using Python
• Familiarity with using PuTTY or other CLI application
