Salary:
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of $45.06 per hour, comprising a base rate of $38.35 plus a 17.5% PM shift allowance and 12% superannuation. In addition, you will be entitled to overtime rates and a $17.50 per week tool allowance.
About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic who can diagnose and repair heavy fleet vehicles and trailers under NHVR regulations. As part of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a high standard of record keeping, servicing FUSO and Mercedes trucks, and working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on delivering exceptional results.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
Mechanic qualifications
Flexibility to work additional hours if required (all overtime paid at overtime rates)
Previous experience in a similar role
Certificate III in Heavy Road Transport advantageous
Heavy Rigid and fork licence advantageous though not essential, and we will support you in obtaining these qualifications
