Responsibilities:
• HRIS Administration: Manage and administer the HRIS platform, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee data, system configurations, and workflows. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements to optimize system functionality and user experience.
• System Enhancements and Implementations: Participate in HRIS system enhancements and new implementations, working closely with HR, IT, and external vendors. Analyze business requirements, configure system settings, conduct testing, and provide end-user training and support.
• Data Management and Reporting: Ensure data integrity within the HRIS platform by conducting regular audits, resolving discrepancies, and implementing data quality controls. Generate and distribute standard and ad hoc HR reports and analytics, providing insights and recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Process Automation: Identify opportunities to automate HR processes through the effective utilization of the HRIS platform. Streamline workflows, reduce manual effort, and enhance data accuracy through system integrations, data imports, and process redesign.
• Compliance and Security: Maintain compliance with relevant data privacy regulations and internal security protocols. Monitor system access and permissions, conduct regular system audits, and collaborate with IT to address any security vulnerabilities.
• User Support and Training: Serve as the primary point of contact for HRIS-related inquiries and issues. Provide end-user support, troubleshoot system errors, and deliver training sessions to enhance user adoption and proficiency.
• System Documentation: Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of HRIS processes, configurations, and procedures. Ensure documentation is up to date, easily accessible, and aligned with industry best practices.
Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• 7-10 years of experience in HRIS administration, preferably in a medium to large-sized organization.
• Strong knowledge of Dayforce HRIS systems strongly preferred, or with proficiency in one or more leading platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud, ADP).
• Solid understanding of HR processes, data management, and reporting requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Experience in creating interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) to present HR data in a visually compelling and meaningful manner.
• Experience with HRIS implementations, including system configuration, testing, and training.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau) to extract insights from HR data.
• Proficiency in working with XML (eXtensible Markup Language) and related technologies, such as XSD (XML Schema Definition) and XSLT (Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations).
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and macros, to manipulate and analyze HR data efficiently.
• HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
The annualized base salary range for this position in California is $115,000 to $140,000. The base salary offered will factor in internal equity and may also vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and relevant experience, among other factors.
