IBM i / COBOL/ 400 Developer (Banking Domain)
• Location: Bangalore
• Employment Type: Full-time, Onsite
• Experience: 5 - 12 Years
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain, and enhance applications on IBM i (AS/400) platform
• Write and optimize programs using COBOL/400 and SQL/400
• Support and troubleshoot production issues in critical systems
• Work with database structures and ensure data integrity using DB2
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system improvements and upgrades
• Handle batch processing, job scheduling, and system performance tuning
Required Skills:
• Strong experience in IBM i (AS/400) environment
• Proficiency in COBOL/400 and SQL/400
• Knowledge of DB2 database concepts
• Experience in payment systems including SWIFT (MT & MX), Fedwire, and ACH
• Good understanding of financial transaction processing systems
