Your role at St John of God Health Care
The Digital Security Team at St John of God Healthcare is seeking a Senior Identity Engineer to lead the development and operation of our identity and access solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of digital security systems and processes, including their acquisition, development, deployment, and maintenance.
Your key responsibilities will include:
Running and managing identity products and services, including Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
Developing, implementing, and configuring our identity products and solutions.
The Position
Provide support and subject matter expertise in the delivery of key identity projects; IGA and PAM
Designing and implementing identity platforms
Development of an operating model including; policies, processes and procedures for identity and access
Accountable for ongoing operations of Identity products and services
Collaborate on identity strategies, objectives and initiatives.
Delivery of new features and functionality in line with the Identity strategy
Development, implementation and configuration of Identity products
Design and implement identity processes and workflows in relation to lifecycle management, access management, priviledge access and Identity governance.
Day-to-day identity operations such as user access reviews, orphan account process.
Actively working to reduce manual effort driving automation
Apply troubleshooting and analytical techniques to resolve complex challenges.
Identity Reporting
Development of identity standards for the management of identity directories and applications
Working closely with Security Architecture and Consulting to define reusable identity patterns for use by projects and BAU teams
Provide SME consulting to support business and technology projects with successful deliver to our identity standards
You will have minimum of 5 years proven hands on experience delivering and maintaining identity products along with experience and knowledge of single sign on and multi factor authentication. You will have a strong understanding of authentication protocols, role base access control and least privilege principles.
To succeed you will possess a Tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Security or a related discipline and relevant certifications (CISSP, vendor certifications etc)
It is highly regarded if you have previous health care industry experience.

Salary $154,196 to $171,339 per annum plus 12% Superannuation
Permanent fulltime position working 76 hours a fortnight
Located in Collins St Melbourne CBD office
40% work from home option
Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as:
