Roles & Responsibilities : -
• Lead the design process, from conceptualization to physical prototyping, ensuring that designs meet the required specifications.
• Manage end-to-end manufacturing and fabrication processes, from material selection to final assembly, focusing on efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
• Conduct comprehensive research to understand the end-user experience, usage scenarios, and product requirements.
• Lead the selection and integration of industrial automation hardware, focusing on the development of robust, scalable, and efficient automation solutions.
• Ensure hardware compliance by staying abreast of industry standards and regulations, incorporating them into the design and development processes.
• Utilize end-to-end prototyping methods, including 3D printing, CNC machining, laser cutting, and optionally PCB fabrication and assembly.
• Analyze material properties and manufacturing processes to optimize product fabrication and ensure design feasibility.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers and manufacturers, to validate design concepts, balancing functionality, cost-effectiveness, and production feasibility.
• Assess product safety, aesthetics, and functionality to ensure practical and market-ready designs.
• Present and articulate design concepts and prototypes to clients and stakeholders for feedback and approval.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends related to robotic end effectors. Continuously seek opportunities to innovate and improve end effector designs for enhanced performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with software engineers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate end effectors into robotic systems.
Communicate effectively and contribute to a cohesive team environment.
Participate in logistics planning for robotics projects, ensuring timely delivery of materials and equipment.
Mandatory Skills : -
• Proven experience in hands-on development, troubleshooting, and optimization of 3D modeling and product visualization.
• Extensive knowledge of kinematics, motion analysis, and the integration of electromechanical systems.
• Deep understanding of materials science, manufacturing technologies, and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
• Proficiency in static and dynamic analysis, with a strong ability to apply these principles in product design.
• Expertise in testing and refining product designs using models, prototypes, and advanced CAD software.
• Strong communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with clients.
