Job Description:
At TD, we rely on insightful data to power our systems and solutions. We’re seeking an experienced information security analyst focusing on cyber threat detection to deliver cyber security insights on a daily basis. The ideal candidate will have strong cyber security knowledge and expertise, along with natural curiosity and a creative mind. While mining, interpreting, and cleaning our data, this person will be relied on to ask questions, connect the dots, and uncover hidden opportunities for realizing the data’s full potential in terms of detect cyber threat. As part of a team of specialists, the information security analyst will “slice and dice” data using various methods and create new visions for the future.
Job Requirements
This role plays a critical role for the Cyber Threat Management Organization:
Work autonomously on high profile, complex and/or high risk technology initiatives with significant impact to the organization
Expertise in analyzing best scenarios for security alerts in SIEM Platform (Splunk ES, Sentinel, LogScale)
Collaborate and manage relationships with other technology/business/corporate/control functions
Identify and validate valuable data sources and automate collection processes
Analyze large amounts of information to discover trends and patterns
Present information using data visualization techniques
Propose solutions and strategies to business challenges
Requirements and Must have skills
Proven experience as an Information Security Analyst
Solid hands-on experience on content management within Splunk ES and/or Sentinel and/or LogScale Platform.
Strong knowledge on security detection/monitoring tools (e.g. CS Falcon, PhishLab, MS defender, etc)
Strong understanding of information technologies and how they are integrated with SIEM
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Nice to have skills
Understanding of machine-learning and operations research; familiarity with Python and SQL is an asset.
Security +, CISSP is preferred
