PM Group is a leading International engineering, architecture, project and construction management firm. With a network of offices in Europe, Asia and the US and a multi-disciplined team of over 3,700 people, we deliver complex, capital projects in the life sciences, food and beverages, mission critical/ICT, advanced manufacturing, energy and environmental sectors.
Due to our on-going success securing large-scale projects for 2026, we have a requirement for Senior Instrumentation Engineer join our Electrical and Instrumentation Department in Bangalore.
Responsibilities
Your day-to-day role would involve the following activities
• To support Ireland Team for Instrumentation Design and Deliverables on various projects as part of a multidiscipline project team
• Instrumentation engineering design services. This includes (but is not limited to) Instrument Index, I/O Lists / Allocation, Instrument Specification / Data Sheets, Layouts, Cable Containment, Block Diagrams, System Architecture,
• Clean Room Applications.
• ATEX compliance (including IS calculations)
• Guiding / Instructing to CAD Designers for Motor wiring schematic and Loop drawings
• E & I Scope of work documentation and all related drawings
• Tender preparation and cost estimates
• PLC Panel design, FAT, safety interlocks, emergency shutdown systems, fire alarm interfaces
• Reviewing system integrator / automation documentation
• Mentor Instrumentation engineering staff at junior and intermediate level.
Qualifications
We would like to hear from candidates who have:
• Degree in Instrumentation Engineering / Electronics/ Electronics and Communication from reputed University / College.
• 10+ years of formal experience with EPC/ Engineering Consultancy firm.
• Experience on US/ Europeans Projects is advantage.
• Proficient in the use of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) & digital project delivery
• Advanced knowledge of all applicable Instrumentation engineering codes, standards and acceptable industry practices
• Remote working with International offices/ Vendors/ Clients.
• Commercially aware and have ability to undertake value engineering activities and implement new technologies where they are implemented to provide costs effective solutions for our clients.
