As the sole COLT Intelligence Analyst, you will provide tactical, operational and strategic intelligence analysis and outputs to support the New Zealand Police response to targeting online Serious and Organised Crime and Online Child Exploitation. Your engagement in your own professional development will see you grow your knowledge of policing and intelligence. Your willingness to connect to people, and critically and thoughtfully engage with what you find, will enhance your understanding of the required intelligence contribution and ensure positive outcomes.

Key Accountabilities:

Demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and apply a wide range of analytical techniques and methods to interpret information and data.
Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop a high standard of written reports/presentations and provide clear and concise verbal briefings appropriate to a range of audiences.

Assist in leading the development of intelligence people, products, and processes.
Proactively identify emerging or escalating trends in Online Child Exploitation and Organised Crime investigations.
